Flat Stanley Fundraising Project
Donations from all around the U.S. and (hopefully) around the world!
A map pin will be placed on the map for every donation we receive to show the children of St. Marc's in Cerca-La-Source, Haiti that many people care about them. More details of the project follow the map.

The Virginia Haiti Collaborative has begun a “Flat Stanley” Project to help raise funds to build a school for the children of Cerca-La-Source, Haiti. Flat Stanley is a book character (in the story of the same name written by Jeff Brown) who gets flattened by a bookcase. He finds that being flat has the advantage of being able to fit in an envelope and travel the world.
Our “Flat Stanley” project involves donations coming to the collaborative to help pay the staff salaries and feed the children at St. Marc's School in Cerca-La-Source. The message is that people around the world, and especially in the U.S., care about the children of Haiti.
Our goal is to raise funds to send approximately $1,800 monthly to cover expenses of salaries and the school food program.
